The Universe and I
2019
For a study project my team and I designed and wrote code for an interactive installation. In this installation people are invited to discover our ever expanding universe while playing with their shadows.
Process
Observing uncertainty
People could walk into the frame in which their shadow got projected. Outside their shadow there is uncertainty which is metaphorically rendered as 'matrix-alike' lines of text. Within yourself you can find real knowledge, which is spawned into the shadow. This knowledge can be read an makes sense to the user.
Combining hardware and code
My team and I coded the experience to be standalone. This was through extensive prototyping to ensure the experience was just like we wanted it.
